Start at the root. Grow what matters.

Helping educators, creatives, and organizations build environments of belonging where everyone can learn, create, and flourish.

Systems were intentionally built to keep us operating from a place of survival. We're learning, in real time, the power that comes when we build outside of them.

The Root Work helps you structure learning and creativity so you and your community are positioned to thrive.

What's at the root

My practice sits at the intersection of special education and equity work: one grounded in access and intentional design, the other in justice and belonging. When people's needs are considered and cared for, a nurturing space is created for true growth.

How I create impact

Nearly a decade in public and independent schools taught me the work was never about a single classroom or role. The same conditions that help a student thrive help a teacher, a team, and a whole community do the same.

The care it takes to grow

Change rarely fails for lack of vision. It fails for lack of structure to make the vision last. The Root Work designs that structure so it holds up long after our work together ends. Everyone gets to learn. Everyone gets to create. Everyone deserves a place where they belong.

Founder · The Root Work

I'm an educator with a decade of experience helping schools and the people inside them do their best work. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Special Education from Temple University and a Master of Arts in Teaching, Leadership, and Cultural Competency from the University of Iowa.

My career began in the classroom and grew into leadership, coaching, and equity roles. I've developed curriculum and programming, advised student leaders, and presented nationally with the National Association of Independent Schools, the Glasgow Group, and Deeper Learning. More recently my work has expanded beyond the classroom into organizational development and creative support, helping mission-driven teams and individual creators turn vision into something sustainable.

Beneath every forest, trees share what they need through a root network no one sees. My work is rooted the same way, with equity, access, and belonging at the center, holding the firm foundation anyone needs to thrive.
